Over the last few days there has been an increase in Options activity. Some was related to Googles premature announcement of earnings for Q3. Review what happened in the article below. It showed last Friday more than 27000 options were traded in Google.Overall over 11 million shares were traded on the total market.

Does this mean money was made shorting? The price dropped 8 percent and has now recovered almost. Some may have but it was not a bonanza for all. Only those with the capability to act fast and have 24hr eyes on the market could have made something. Smaller traders are still better off following a clear, planned , system of trades especially in Options.
